Population and community surveys

These surveys are designed to gain a representative sample of the population or community of interest. They can often be longitudinal - tracking changes in beliefs, attitudes or interests over time. Psychometric measures are often included within these surveys to gauge internal beliefs, attitudes or even personality dispositions.

These surveys can have many applications for the government sector and not-for-profit and community-based organisations, such as museums, providers of tourist and leisure activities or those that provide other services to the community. One such community of interest is the building and construction sector in New Zealand and MMResearch™ has earned itself a unique reputation of providing market research services to the building sector.
