Telephone focus groups (TeleFocusGroups™)

A TeleFocusGroupTM is a focus group conducted by phone. We have all become used to teleconferencing and video-conferencing. With some imagination, a TeleFocusGroupTM is not too dissimilar. Instead of talking one-on-one, a group of up to eight respondents deliberate under the guidance of an experienced and skilled moderator. TeleFocusGroupsTM are excellent for conducting group discussions with participants from a range of geographic locations.

The moderator arranges a conference call at a certain date and time and respondents are advised beforehand. The entire session is recorded for the purpose of analysis and reporting. TeleFocusGroupsTM are not a replacement for focus groups.
