Theo Muller - Managing Director
Theo is Managing Director of MMResearch™. He qualified in commercial law in the Netherlands and gained further qualifications in marketing in New Zealand. He pursued a career in marketing with Lever Rexona and the New Zealand Dairy Board (Fonterra) and founding MMResearch™ in the mid-nineties.
Theo has a passion for relationship marketing and marketing research. He has authored several essays on these topics, earning him a reputation for being innovative in his philosophy on marketing and market research. He works with many reputable clients in these fields to directly benefit their market position. Theo is also an experienced and skilled moderator and group facilitator.
Theo has conducted a vast amount of research for the building and construction industry in New Zealand. Under his stewardship, MMResearch™ has conducted research with builders, customers of builders, suppliers to the building and construction industry, building industry regulatory organisations and learning institutions in the building sector.
Sarah Major - Senior Researcher
Sarah joined MMResearch™ as a Senior Researcher, responsible for project design, implementation, analysis and client liaison.
Sarah has a BA (Hons) from Victoria University. She majored in Anthropology and English. Before re-joining the work force and after a period of raising a young family with her husband, Sarah worked as market research executive and quantitative project manager, for an international market research firm in Wellington.
This role required her to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including research strategy development, questionnaire design, data analysis, report writing and customer liaison. Sarah has worked both in the public and private sectors, including tourism, immigration services, science and research and FMCGs.
Sarah has managed many research projects for the building and construction sector in New Zealand since joining MMResearch™, including research for membership organisations in the building industry and learning institutions involved in the building and construction industry.
Aditya Waghmare - Data Analyst
Aditya (Adi) joined MMResearch™ as a Data Analyst responsible for the MMDashboard™, data analysis and client reporting as part of the MMResearch™ team.
Adi has completed his Masters degree from Victoria University and Masters in Business Administration from Symbiosis International University, India. He has a passion for interpreting and analysing data, driving business awareness, and has experience in market research, client reporting and report writing in the telecommunications sector. Adi has conducted research projects in the healthcare, management consulting & real estate sector with a focus on data analysis & industry research for supporting management decision making & strategy formulation.
Throughout his work experience, he has helped uncover industry trends, customer preferences, create brand awareness and customer satisfaction research in highly dynamic and competitive industrial sectors with the ability to tailor approach for specific business needs.
Dr Brian Vest - Data Analyst
Brian joined MMResearch™ as a Data Analyst. He has completed a Bachelor of Computing Systems degree from the Eastern Institute of Technology where he majored in programming and databases. He also has a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from Massey University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching from the University of Auckland. Before joining MMResearch™, Brian was both a chemistry and mathematics teacher, analytical chemistry lecturer and scientific researcher.
Brian has experience in project-managing ERP upgrades, designing BI systems for manufacturing businesses, data analysis and database design. He also has an extensive list of publications in chemistry and physics journals. He thrives on producing quality research and analysis, publishing on new discoveries and helping to see businesses succeed.
We also employ several qualitative interviewers. These are all very experienced individuals, who consistently achieve high response rates on the assignments allocated to them. We often use their services for qualitative research projects or research projects that require a multi-method data collection strategy.
